With that in mind I would recommend the followingġ. You don't have to make one of each character class, but even having two characters is a lot better than one. There are some better for melees, some for casters. For eg., 'Ghosts of bremmtown' quest is terribly hard for assassins, while there are some quests that an assassin is best suited for ( eg. What I meant is that no character class, let alone build, shines at every aspect of the game, especially endgame/ubers. Nearly all builds are good with game knowledge and strategy. In general though, MXL is a very well balanced game. Most ubers inherently favour some classes over others. Also on what your endgame goals are, do you want to do ALL the ubers? That is very difficult for a single character.

Then will start a totemancer ( hc )įabian- that depends a lot on whether you want to play SC or HC. Currently playing paladins, lvl 68 SC pal and lvl 40 HC pal. Whatever element you choose, get as much -enemy res to that element as possible - this is very important for heroic ubers -199% is best but even say -170% is good enough. Thunderstone is also imba boss killer if you go for lightning tree. I'm not sure if Baal drops psn immunity ( most heroics don't ), but if he does, respec to psn and spam lorenado/miasma might be a great idea. just concentrate on using flamefront and maybe use chronofield to slow him down a lot. I haven't tried it yet but I think flamestrike won't work here, Baal moves around too much. Though that's not saying much, heroic ubers are all tough dudes, Baal is probably the easiest of em. A lot of the monsters that were replaced and put it also make no sense, and it seemed to me like a lazy gimmick to look like he tried to work on them. The ones in Median are all the same save for the uberquests and bosses.

I remember before I downloaded it I saw a mod called Scrabble that had totally reworked environments. I think the biggest disappointment was the lack of addition to monsters/story line/environment/ ect. I was going along at payers 8 for every char but the bowazon, but once you hit Act 3, you get wiped out by the onyx knights at players 1. I was bored of playing D2 and this was a good remedy. Overall, I really like it because it gives a twist to the game. And the tree form is so horrendously boring, since the only active skills consist of repeatedly bashing. The trap rat, though hilarious to look at, is so weak and slow compared to the tree form. I also sort of tried a bow druid but gave up to its immense weakness, then tried the trap rat and tree form. I've tried a bowazon, summoner necro, unholy pally, melee assassin, and a fire/ice sorc so far. I was also greatly disappointed at the weakness of bow characters the necro with a crossbow just wipes out the bows. I find that the necro and the assassin are so far the only classes where different types of spells from all trees can be used in conjunction. I agree that the characters are sometimes changed a little much, and few of the trees really synergize with one another, and so sometimes you must stick with only like 5 spells. However I don't like downloading stuff like that onto my computer, especially since it's not really my own. Well if Hamachi is a private server then as far as I understand it's allowed.
